OneWorld Sustainable Investments was established in 2001, with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg. In 2019, OneWorld Europe was established in Brussels as a sister company, responsible for all our global projects and programmes, whilst OneWorld Sustainable Investments continues to lead our projects in Africa, particularly Sub-Saharan Africa.

Both are sustainable development organisations focused on building social, economic, and institutional resilience in the context of climate and resource constraints. For over 20 years, OneWorld has been working with institutions – from local to global – that are involved in development and building climate resilience.

Our focus areas are Climate Resilience, Just Transitions, Resilient Resources, Sustainable Finance.

Our approach is stakeholder-led, enabling co-developed solutions and local ownership.
